The Words

Starring Bradley Cooper, Jeremy Irons, Dennis Quaid, Olivia Wilde and Zoë Saldana, the layered romantic drama The Words follows young writer Rory Jansen who finally achieves long sought after literary success after publishing the next great American novel. There’s only one catch – he didn’t write it. As the past comes back to haunt him and his literary star continues to rise, Jansen is forced to confront the steep price that must be paid for stealing another man’s work, and for placing ambition and success above life’s most fundamental three words. — (C) CBS Films

Scott’s Take

I saw The Words about a month ago and it was merely average.  It is nothing that you haven’t seen 1,000 times before.  It’s the Secret Window without Johnny Depp or the suspense.  The Words is definitely not worth a purchase, but if you can wait until Redbox, have at it.

Steve’s Take

I normally side with Scotty when it comes to my view of movies. I trust his judgement, but with Zoe Saldana and Olivia Wilde, I’m going to have to take a chance on this one.

Next Week

That’s all for this week. Next week we have Looper with Joseph Gordon Levitt and Bruce Willis, Cosmopolis with Edward from Twilight, School of Rock, Zodiac, Election, Breakfast at Tiffany’s and much more.  Have a safe and wonderful Christmas everyone!
