Alright, now that we got that out-of-the-way, let’s get to the business at hand. The Miami Marlins are an absolute MESS! One day after the massive trade that they pulled off with the Toronto Blue Jays, the excuse machine has started up. Loria and Samson are out there saying that this was not a salary dump and it didn’t have anything to do with salary. They think the fans in Miami are stupid. Everyone knows this was a salary dump. Yes, they spent a lot of money last year and they finished with 69 wins, but you don’t see every unsuccessful team trading off everyone that is making money on your team. Liars. Disaster. Haha – Reyes is a Blue Jay. Morons.

The Knicks are still perfect! Who would have thought that would happen?!? Oh, there are 77 games to go in the season? Oh, who else is 5-0 in the NBA? Oh, ok. They have been playing great all around basketball and that is especially true on the defensive end of the game. JR Smith has been sizzling coming off the bench and Melo has been Melo. They have a nice little test tomorrow night in San Antonio. Let’s get it!

Hockey = White. Hot. Garbage. Yup, still going strong!

While we are in a New York state of mind, the Mets are looking like they are going to take care of David Wright and R.A. Dickey. Speaking of R.A. Dickey – I’m sure he prefers to be called Mr. Cy Young. Congrats goes out to him as he deserved it 100%. I’m pretty content to be a Met fan right now.

Lance Armstrong stepped down from his cancer foundation. I guess it was a good move because there was far too much in the way of distractions for them. The man is a cheater and that really is the bottom line. He did bring cycling back as far as people actually watching it, but in the end, was it worth it? Probably not.

Did I just write about cycling? Sorry about that. It will not happen again.

That’s about all for this week! Hope your hump day is going well and that you’re on your way to an enjoyable weekend! If I missed something or if you’d like to battle it out on something you didn’t agree with feel free to leave a comment!
