Heat Close Out Game?

Here we go! Game 6 in Indy! It’s been a brutal series so far and each team is taking issue with what has been happening. Didn’t the Pacers start this when their head coach decided to call the Heat a bunch of floppers?

That’s besides the point though. Coach Spo is now complaining about hard fouls that have not been called when Lebron or Wade have been hit hard. I think everyone just needs to take a step back and calm down – maybe they should even review some of the film from the NBA from the days of the Bad Boys in Detroit and the days of the Knicks/Heat rivalry in the late 90’s. Are you kidding me?? The fouls on Haslem and Hansbrough would have been fouls just like any other and that would have been the end of it.

Regardless of what I say or think, it is what it is. Haslem is suspended for tonights game and it’s a shame because he just finally started to get it going. Even when he hasn’t been hitting his shots through out the year he has still been there as a presence to try to clog the lane and to get rebounds. Now, the Heat are without Bosh and Haslem and will rely on Juwon Howard to be that guy tonight. To say that is a stretch is an understatement. While it sounds ridiculous to say this, the odds are stacked against the Heat tonight.

With all of that being said, the Pacers have their backs against the wall – it’s win or stay home. I think they will come out with a crazy amount of intensity and try to bury the Heat early. I also think that they will be overly aggressive and that will play right into the game plan for the Heat. The Pacers are top 5 in the league in committing fouls (in case you haven’t noticed) and the Heat are top 5 in getting to the free throw line. That’s trouble for the Pacers and I think they are home to stay. I think it will be a low scoring game in the favor of Miami: Heat 84 Pacers 80.
