What We Learned on Opening Night

04 Apr

What’s up, everyone. Steve here to talk about what we learned on Wednesday night in Miami:

1. Marlins Park is a beautiful stadium

2. Marlins Park has a HUGE outfield

3. Hanley and Jose are going to need some time on the left side of the infield together (miscue on a Beltran grounder)

4. Marlin fans can be loud if they want to be

5. The Cardinals are still a solid ball club without Albert Pujols

5A. David Freese is STILL on fire

6. Reyes has brought his energy to Miami

7. That contraption in left center field is horrible

8. Ozzie Guillen has the ability to NOT get thrown out of a game

9. Kyle Lohse is an ACE (until his next start)

10. Jason Motte can bring it! (99 mph to K Hanley in the 9th

11. – 20. That thing is left center field is hideous!

Good catch (get it) there. Turned into a pretty sad moment.
