A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas 3D
Following years of growing apart, Harold Lee (Cho) and Kumar Patel (Penn) have replaced each other with new friends and are preparing for their respective Yuletide celebrations. But when a mysterious package mistakenly arrives at Kumar’s door on Christmas Eve, his attempt to redirect it to Harold’s house ends with the “high grade” contents-and Harold’s father-in-law’s prize Christmas tree-going up in smoke. With his in-laws out of the house for the day, Harold decides to cover his tracks, rather than come clean. Reluctantly embarking on another ill-advised journey with Kumar through New York City, their search for the perfect replacement tree takes them through party heaven-and almost blows Christmas Eve sky high. — (C) Warner Bros
Scott’s Take – 3 Stars
I love all of the Harold & Kumar’s. This one is no exception. If you enjoyed the previous two films, you will laugh your ass off, if you didn’t..maybe not so much.
I made every effort to see this in theaters, but I failed. I’m sorry. I will see it this week through Vudu!
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1
In The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1, Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward (Robert Pattinson), plus those they love, must deal with the chain of consequences brought on by a marriage, honeymoon, and the tumultuous birth of a child…which brings an unforeseen and shocking development for Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner). — (C) Summit Entertainment
Scott’s Take – 1 Star
It’s not that I’m a hater of the Twilight franchise. It’s the simple fact that these movies aren’t very good. All of these film are critic proof so It doesn’t really matter what I think. Ahhhhhhh…let it be over.
My wife has been driving me crazy about seeing this movie when it comes out. I have refused every step up the way. At a Super Bowl party we were at yesterday I overheard her talking about the movie with her good friend and our editor, Yuri Sakano. I heard them saying they will watch it together when it comes out. Crisis averted.
That’s all for this week. Next week we have The Rum Diary and Take Shelter. Have a great week compadres!
