A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas

A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas- Following years of growing apart, Harold Lee (Cho) and Kumar Patel (Penn) have replaced each other with new friends and are preparing for their respective Yuletide celebrations. But when a mysterious package mistakenly arrives at Kumar’s door on Christmas Eve, his attempt to redirect it to Harold’s house ends with the “high grade” contents-and Harold’s father-in-law’s prize Christmas tree-going up in smoke. With his in-laws out of the house for the day, Harold decides to cover his tracks, rather than come clean. Reluctantly embarking on another ill-advised journey with Kumar through New York City, their search for the perfect replacement tree takes them through party heaven-and almost blows Christmas Eve sky high. — (C) Warner Bros

Scott’s Take

I absolutely love this series.  No other comedy series pushes the envelope like Harold & Kumar.  Sign me up son.  I’m ready for some more Neil Patrick Harris.

Steve’s Take

I agree wholeheartedly! I say sign me up for any Christmas movie that comes my way and this one is no exception! I sign myself up for all Christmas movies with the risk of running into a clunker like Surviving Christmas – horrendous!

Tower Heist

Tower Heist- Ben Stiller and Eddie Murphy lead an all-star cast in Tower Heist, a comedy caper about working stiffs who seek revenge on the Wall Street swindler who stiffed them. After the workers at a luxury Central Park condominium discover the penthouse billionaire has stolen their retirement, they plot the ultimate revenge: a heist to reclaim what he took from them. — (C) Official Site

Scott’s Take

Yes Bret Ratner is directing, but this caper looks solid.  It’s also nice to see Eddie Murphy in something a little more grown up.  Cross your fingers on this one!

Steve’s Take

I’m willing to see this one, but I’m concerned with the fact that Eddie Murphy is in it and that I haven’t really liked much of Ben Stiller’s recent stuff.

Next Week

I actually like both releases this week.  Next week we have J Edgar with Leonardo DiCaprio, Immortals, and Adam Sandler in another garbage comedy Jack and Jill.  Enjoy your weekend!
