Horrible Bosses Review

So, have you ever wished your boss was dead? Come on, I think we have all been to the point where we thought we would be better off without our boss. If any of the writers of agree with my previous statement I would like them to pack up their bags and be gone in 20 minutes.

Let’s get to the movie. Jason Bateman has been on a serious roll lately. Horrible Bosses is just another in his streak of good movies. Jason Sudeikis and Charlie Day round out the trio of employees that want their bosses out-of-the-way and the best course of action (in their minds) is to kill them. Their next thought is that if they kill their bosses they will immediately become suspects in each of their murders. Once again the light-bulbs shine brightly above their heads and they decide that they will kill each others bosses so that it isn’t so obvious. What an outstanding idea! I feel the need for some added security – remind me to get with Scott about this later.

Their bosses are played by Kevin Spacey, Colin Farrell and Jennifer Aniston who all do a very good job playing the annoying boss. Well, I guess that last statement is true with the exception of Jennifer Aniston. She plays the boss who is always hitting on her male employee and let’s be honest guys – haven’t we all dreams of having our hot female boss hit on us? Well I haven’t you bunch of perverts! (My wife might be reading this).

The laughs in this movie are plentiful and Horrible Bosses will make for a great movie to be watched by yourself or by many. Please don’t use any of the ideas in this movie to inflict any harm on your boss no matter how bad they are. The inside of your office will always be better than the inside of a jail cell. Maybe…

Final Word – 3 Stars

Nicely written review. Nothing groundbreaking and it’s definitely of the rude and crude genre but I thought it was a really good time. Plenty of laughs to be had throughout and the main trio has great chemistry which really helps.
