After being forced into a double header on Wednesday against the Reds, due to Hurricane Irene, the Florida Marlins struck a new low (like you ever thought that was possible). According to Yahoo Sports, it was counted only 347 fans were in attendance of the first game of the double header. The “official” attendance though is calculated of tickets sold, so an official count of fans in the stands will never really be known. But to the Marlins defense, there was an unpredictable storm on its way at the time and the game being changed last minute, not many people could just take off work to go watch a Marlins/Reds game on a Wednesday. Then again, not many people go watch the Marlins/Reds anyway.
