After seeing how well he has recovered from an ankle injury, the French Basketball Federation says Joakim Noah is ready to join the French team in time for the European Championships .
Noah was sent to Los Angeles weeks ago to receive those treatments on that troublesome ankle. Seeing how teams overseas have been making it rain to attract NBA players to play for them, seeing a team actually send him back sent shivers down many Bulls fans who feared that injury could be more serious than originally thought. This message from the FFBB’s website should make them feel a bit better.
“(A)fter seeing the conclusions from the two specialists, the franchise (Chicago Bulls) doctor should give his accord for Joakim Noah to return to the France team, without having to go to Chicago.”
France is slated to start playing in the European Championships on August 31 against Latvia.
