Scott’s Review- The original Tron experience was one one of my greatest childhood memories. There was nothing better than my parents packing up the car and heading off to our local drive-in every Friday. I begged my parents to see Tron and I ended up seeing it three times on the hood of my parent’s station wagon. So my expectations for Tron:Legacy were pretty high. I expected to time travel back to the hood of that station wagon, if only for a couple hours. Sadly, I was disappointed. Tron:Legacy is absolutely gorgeous. You can’t take your eyes off the screen. The problem is that it has no soul. It is another special effects laden machine that sacrifices story for eye candy. It’s definitely worth a look, but if you are looking to go back in time, this isn’t it. Super 8 are you listening?
