Tron: Legacy –

Plot – Sam Flynn, the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn, looks into his father’s disappearance and finds himself pulled into the same world of fierce programs and gladiatorial games where his father has been living for 20 years. Along with Kevin’s loyal confidant, father and son embark on a life-and-death journey across a visually-stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous. Written by ZootCatchy

Scott’s Review- The original Tron experience was one one of my greatest childhood memories. There was nothing better than my parents packing up the car and heading off to our local drive-in every Friday. I begged my parents to see Tron and I ended up seeing it three times on the hood of my parent’s station wagon. So my expectations for Tron:Legacy were pretty high. I expected to time travel back to the hood of that station wagon, if only for a couple hours. Sadly, I was disappointed. Tron:Legacy is absolutely gorgeous. You can’t take your eyes off the screen. The problem is that it has no soul. It is another special effects laden machine that sacrifices story for eye candy. It’s definitely worth a look, but if you are looking to go back in time, this isn’t it. Super 8 are you listening?
